An informal fun and fellowship group for widows and widowers was established in 1998 at First Congregational Church of Riverside. The group is called www.Come which stands for Witty Widows and Widowers Dot Come! Monthly gatherings are held in homes, at the church, at a restaurant or on field trips. Some of our activities have included hearing excellent guest speakers, stepping out to lunch, and field trips to the University of California-Riverside Botanic Gardens, Riverside County Courthouse, March Air Force Base Museum, Riverside Municipal Museum, the Lincoln Library in Redlands, and the Islamic Mosque of Riverside. Anyone interested in our programs is welcome to come along with us --- widowed or not!
