Church School!
First and foremost, our Church School program aims to teach that God's love is for all, no matter what. In creating a safe and comfortable environment, we are able to better instruct our chil- dren and youth using our current curriculum: Gather Round. Gather Round was developed by our Mennonite brothers and sisters and em- phasizes scripture, peace, and applying the teachings of Jesus to our everyday lives. It employs a variety of learning styles so that every child has ample opportunity to have fun and learn.
Age Groups
Children ranging in age from 3 years to graduating from senior high schoolareinvitedtocomeandlearnwithus. Classesaregroupedac-
cording to age and development.
Who teaches?
All of our teachers are volunteers from our congregation. Every person who works with our children and youth is required to have a background check, and is a well known member of the congregation. Parents who are interested are welcome to come and observe a lesson.
When is Sunday School?
After the Word With Children, all are invited to follow our associate pastor up to our classrooms for lesson time. The lessons typically end by 11am (the same time as the worship service.) The exception to this is when we have Children's Chapel.
Where do I pick up my kids?
After church, parents come upstairs to the classrooms to pick up their students. For safety's sake, we keep the students in the classroom until a parent/guardian can come.
