After Church Forums
Interspersed throughout the year, Adult Education Forums are held after the Sunday morning worship service. These may involve individual forums or a more extensive series of forums that deal with topics related to Christian ethics, justice, current events, and other areas of interests shared by the congregation. Recently topics have included The War in Iraq, "What Does it Mean to be A Just Peace Church," the Propositions on the recent California Ballot, and Gay Marriage.
Bible Study
The Sr. Minister leads a Bible Study class from 5:30 - 6:45 most Thursdays. (Call the church to confirm schedule.) We start with a simple meal, and then study and discuss scripture and theology together. Forget your typical Bible study; this is a lively class where differences of opinion are not only tolerated, they are valued.
Book Club
Those who are interested can be a part of the church's Book Club. Call the church office or check the church newsletter (Outlook) to find out which book is being read and the schedule of meetings.
